CD Reviews

Soul solution wrecks shop once again!!
Adrian Thacker | 06/11/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The main reason to purchase this disc, is the brilliant Soul Solution remix of "The One I Gave My Heart To". Soul Solution (the team who remixed Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart" with Hex Hector) have a knack for taking Top 40 tracks and turning them into bumpin' club anthems. This is one of their best. The remixes of "One In A Million" are alright - but have nowhere near the power that the Soul Solution mix of "The One I Gave My Heart To" does."
It was such a beautiful song

"It is a beautiful song and you can tell Aaliyah really poured her heart out on this one her voice was beautiful and I'm sure everyone can relate to this song. It was so sad and the song was very classy."
I loved the song. Aalyiah's songs always deals with my life.

"As a young teenager, I can relate to her song. Although I try to refrain myself from getting all caught up with the "True Love" stuff, You can't help but at least once giving your heart to someone special. There is such a thing as true love, but if you believe your true love is everyone then you need to wake up. I did give my heart to someone but we're not together anymore. I felt so alone, and depressed. I replayed the song over and over again. And of course the first time I heard it, I cried. But even though I'm okay I still love the song and still listen to it. Thank you Aaliyah for singing songs that really happen."
