"16 minutes of hardcore music and then 30 minutes of eastern/indian-type music & chanting? as if that isn't annoying enough, it's all one big track...thanks for nothing guys! gee, you're so philosophical! the 16 minutes of music isn't even that good...idefy is ok, but there's 1,000 better hardcore bands this this.

OK, so I'm listening to this again after putting it down for a while and I still don't see what all the fuss is about. Two things really get me: trying to make others "spiritual" by way of your own religion and to sell this as a full price cd. I'm sick of musicians trying to spread what they feel is 'correct' with regards to religion. It's f*cking hardcore music, just jam out. It was bad enough with straight-edge being shoved down your throat; although there were plenty of great straight-edge bands. So bands then discover the "enlightenment" of Krishna...jesus christ...they find one "alternative" religion and they think they've found the answer to life. There's a thousand religions out there, so why push any of them? I'm an agnostic, so I just needed to vent a little.

As far as the music goes, it's very run-of-the-mill and to say it's one of the best hardcore albums of all time?? well, to each his own. Now with the ease of the computer I can finally separate out the music and the chanting. So after removing it all it actually comes out to less than 16 minutes of music. I 2nd that this should have been a 7" and then you can release another 7" of just the chanting and if anybody wants that then they can buy it!"

"Holyname, Slave, Liar and Idefy would have made a fantastic 7". The tracks altogether are a nice picture of the scene at the time, but even then it felt a bit hit or miss.
