Seconding the recommendation of The Damned... I recommend Against Me!, Anti-Flag, The AKAs, The Bronx, Hot Water Music, The Lawrence Arms... If you're interested in bands fronted by girls check out Tsunami Bomb, theSTART, or Soviettes. Bouncing Souls and Lifetime are good too (Jersey pride!). Definitely check out Alkaline Trio-- I recommend "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" if you're going to pick just one album to start. |
