Before I post anymore CDs...I need to ask. When you click artwork, does that mean JUST the papers that come in the front, or the case, too? Because I don't have the cases right now (they're all stored at Mom and Dad's because I have my CDs in a big notebook thingy). I CAN get them, but it'll be a PITA. I was excited to see we don't have to send them.

So, should I say that I don't have the artwork and "surprise" them with the papers, or keep saying I do? I'm confused. :(

Beth, the 'artwork' does NOT mean the case, too. I'd say you're doing it right.
eta: the only exception I can think of, would be the ones that come in pasteboard cases and have stuff printed on the case, but they make a perfect mailer.

Okay. Now I need to go back and fix them all back. LOL I stopped and changed what I'd done in case I'd messed up--I'd rather be wrong with too little info than too much, ya know?

I would say that you should say it doesn't come with artwork. If you sent me a CD that said it came with the artwork and was missing the back insert I wouldn't give you the credit...

Well, since there seems to be a discrepancy, I guess I'm going to have to list it without artwork and then PM the people to let them know. That royally sucks because then if someone wants the artwork but just the front book is all that matters to them, they still won't want my CD.

I think I'm finding this site to be more trouble than it's worth. That's really sad because I love PBS and loved the idea of getting rid of my CDs I don't listen to.

Your original question asked about artwork vs case. I think it's agreed that the case is NOT part of the artwork.

However, the back insert is another matter. That's not part of the case, it's part of the artwork. It's certainly possible many people who want artwork just want the front insert with the song listing.

But I'm one of those who wants the back artwork--w/o it, I can't tell the CD from the edge when it's on my CD shelf. And it has the song listing nicely easy to read.
