Discussion Forums - Questions about SwapaCD

So, I got alerts on 3 discs that had just been posted this morning and I was the sole wish-lister on all three. Went to the detail pages and all three were gone. Then I checked CDs Posted Today, and they weren't listed there either. Any ideas on what happened?

Maybe someone accidentally posted CDs as available and then quickly switched them to Hold?

Yeah, I was wondering if they had second thoughts, and pulled them from the site. There was about an hour between the time I got notifications and when I logged in to check.

I'm noticing that no "CD requested by You" messages are coming through via email since last night.  Ihave requested 12 titles: 5 yesterday (with confirmation email) and 7 today (with no email) -- I wonder if something odd is going on.  

Me neither. There were 2 items on My Accout page that must have been on my Wish List but I never got any emails. This happens occasionally and I imagine it's only temporary.

They must have fixed the problem as I just got a bunch of emails from SACD...

Problem not fixed quite yet. I had one waiting for me to accept, but no email.

Definitely let the Team know. I reported it, but at one point the response was along the lines of "nobody else has said anything" -- but if you are not getting emails -- especially wishes granted -- you're hardly going to know it if, except by mental telepathy.  

I did get a wish-granted and I only knew about it because I happened to visit the site.  

I did get confirmation that the problem was being addressed, but yes, there WAS a problem with emails.

I just let them know via feedback.

Still not receiving any emails...

Still problematic for anyone else? I haven't received a single email notification since May 13.  Last I heard from the Team, the problem was fixed, but it sure is not.  I just sent a query about the progress of this issue.

Note to fellow traders (because I forgot this, myself):  your messages via SwapaCD -- from the site and from your fellow traders --  are also cc'd to the "Club Communications" page.  That isn't going to help you unless you log in and come to the site to find them, but it's good to know.

Seems the problem with alerts has been fixed.
