When I was at the post office shipping books & cds today, the postal clerk was very inquisitive about what was in the packages, telling me the USPS has changed the definition of media mail. I looked it up: https://about.usps.com/notices/not121/not121_tech.htm http://pe.usps.com/text/dmm300/173.htm#1113509 None of the links mention cds being eligible for media mail. Media mail's overpriced as it is; if it's no longer an option, what are we to do about our swaps? Thanks! Jerrie Adkins the filkferengi |

Thanks Jerrie, I will read the info later when I get time. I use First Class to send CD's. 2 Forever Stamps (.98¢) I might use Media Mail if I had to mail a group of 4 or 5 CD'S. Last Edited on: 4/18/15 10:42 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

CDs are covered in section 4.1.e of the second link you provided - sound recordings. A CD is a sound recording and is still eligible for media mail. |
