I'm trying to post a cd, Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell 1, and although I'm finding that the system has information available for the BOOH 2 and 3 cd's, the site is telling me that there is no info for this cd, even though I've entered the name of the cd and the UPC code. This is a legitimately packaged cd, with front and rear covers, from the Epic/Cleveland labels. Can anybody help me out there? |

Hey, folks, I received an email yesterday that a cd that I have had on my list for awhile is available, but I didn't have enough money available (plenty of credits, though). My problem is that I went ahead just a few weeks ago and bought this at Amazon. I came to my account page and tried to figure out how to contact Swapacd or the seller to let them know that I don't need this anymore. I went ahead and removed it from my wish list last night while I was on the site. This morning, I received another email from swapacd about this cd. I'd like to let somebody know that I don't need this cd anymore (though I really wish I could have gotten it through here! :( Can someone tell me how to inform them that I don't need this anymore? Well, the subject line about sums it up. I posted a Carpenters cd (Singles 1969 - 1981) that I got on sacd not long ago. I PM'd them letting them know it was on the way, and they raised a question about which recording it was. I told them it was the original A&M cd with a 10 page booklet on with history and spec's on the songs. They asked if it had" two (specific) tracs in 5.1 dolby and one in stereo", I wrote back and said, no, but it does have all of the songs listed. I saw 2 different selections when I typed in the title to post it, and the one I picked was my A&M label cd. Anyway, point is, I now have this cd in hand, have agreed happily to not send it, but I'd like to know how to get my cd back to "postable" again. Since it says I have to wait until a certain date to even ask about it, how can I get it released to re post? |

I haven't found anyplace where I can actually contact the site itself for answers (maybe I'm looking in the wrong place), but I remembered the forums the other day, and you've come through for me. I will now check YOUR wish list and see if I can help you out for your courtesy. I haven't had any response to any of my wish list requests in months and months. I currently have 6 or seven that I am #1 on the list, but I haven't gotten any notices of any of these being available for ages. This, on top of the fact that if I "order" a cd off of the stuff that's just come in today, I get it. Is it possible for other people to get on the daily lists and snatch a cd before people who have been waiting months to get it? I have some requests from January, and I can't remember the last time I was contacted about having one of my wish list selections being available. I understand that the higher you have it on your wish list, the better chance you have. But when I"ve had a half dozen of mine showing me as the next person in line to get them, somethings got to be wrong. Anybody know anything about this kind of thing? |

Hey, folks, this is my first time on this forum, and I can't seem to find the answer to a simple question yet, so here goes. I have a cd on my tower and have received a message "waiting 48 hours for other member to confirm that they have credit(s) for this cd". (REserved on 1/27 at 5:30 pm ET) Since I am only a 1 week old member, could someone clarify what exactly this message means to me? I mean, do I need to make a call here, or am I just waiting to find out who is going to get this cd? Question 2) If someone requests a cd "disc only", will I be considered a jerk if I don't send along the front and rear sleeves with it? I could use them myself on a copy for my collection, right? (Not to be sent to anyone else, of course.)Thanks for the education on this. I know it must seem pretty simple, but I'm still a newbie. |

I tried to list this CD on Swapacd, but it could not find it. It's from the Nonesuch label, produced by Time Warner in 2001. It has a 25 page booklet in excelent condition, (everything is), and the booklet is in English and German. It contains 1) Aus Dem Leben Von W.A.M., 2) Serenata Notturna, 3)The Messenger, 4) Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, 5) Moz-Art A La Hayden, 6) Kinder-Symphonie. Nonesuch #79633-2 |
