If Stephan doesn't take them all I'm happy to ship you the one for 2 credits.

None of them have listings, I'm afraid.  I had a hard time find any references to them at all online.

I *think* this is the one you are referencing (and if so, you can listen to samples): https://www.firstcom.com/en-us/search?qtext=altro&mode=workgrouping&vtag=1&vwave=1&vdesc=1&ktype=7&fq=albumId:(4001)

I'm not at home so I can't double check but the cover art looks familiar and the title matches.  I will try to double check when I get home.

Deal updated, because I realized I had another large set of the same type.  Now 28 for 6!

28 albums, 6 credits

For something a little different: These CDs are  "specifiically produced for film, television, and radio".  (If you want to use them in a public way you'll have to obtain that separately, these don't automatically carry use rights).

They are in two series and then some misc.   There are 28  albums, but some have multiple CDs in them.  None have UPCs.  Variety of music. Nice condition.

From the OneMusic Nostalgia Series (Each CD details the Title, Tempo (up/fast/medium/etc), beats per minute, time, Orchestration/description, Intensity, Attitude, commercial & promo lengths )

  1. Nostalgia 1: The Golden Age
  2. Nostalgia 2: The Golden Age II
  3. Nostalgia 3: The Foundations 50's Tributes (3 CDs.  One CD has all the music, then two others have half each, which appear to be "synchronized sub-mixes for custom music production" and are "LiquidTrax")
  4. Nostalgia 4: Swing era (3 CDs, same setup as #3)
  5. Nostalgia 5: Romancing & Dancing
  6. Nostalgia 6: Swing Era 2

From Gotham (CDs have applications for the music type. Looks to have full, underscore, and shorter(?) versions of each track.  Each track has title & description)

  1. Swingtime Live
  2. Glitzy Glamour House
  3. Slammin' Horns
  4. Percussive Drama
  5. Spy City
  6. Big & Juicy Underscore
  7. Gotham Rap
  8. Rock City
  9. Emotional Scores
  10. Simple Music Beds Vol 2
  11. Everything Drama
  12. Cool Young Stuff Vol 2
  13. New Acoustics
  14. Club Scene and R&B
  15. Big World Groves
  16. Patriotism and Inspirational

Misc, from various publishers

  1. Velocity: Throwback Altrock V6 (80s) (2 CDs)
  2. Cavendish: Feel Good Factor (sticker on front art)
  3. Hollywood Film Music Library Volume 1.1 Industrial (musical cues)
  4. Hollywood Film Music Library Volume 1.2 Industrial (musical cues)
  5. FirstCom Music Library: Asian Beets Culture (I did not mispell Beets) Bollywood
  6. FirstCom Music Library: Pacific Adventures (2 CDS)

Box of over 100 CDs, 20 credits.  I don't have a list, but I do have a couple pictures that show  most of the titles:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/37839571@N07/albums/72157677493717058

(I counted 107 but I didn't double check the count so I'm sticking to "over 100").    I had a lot of fun at thrift sales this summer and am finally done going through the CDs I bought and these are the ones I don't want.  (I'm eclectic but picky in my music. I like listening to a variety of things, but I don't keep most of it).

Most have artwork, most are in postable shape.  (That means not all have artwork and possibly some aren't postable. Any that I noticed were unplayable I pulled out and got rid of).   Most are full length but I think a few singles snuck in.   Some are samplers.   I listened to a bunch of them, at least to the point I decided I didn't want them.

I I haven't yet posted any of them on SaCD; I don't want to mail one CD at a time, so these are "new to the site"

Caveat: I am not aware of any in unlistenable condition, but I'm not refunding credits if you find a couple--consider the extras above 100 to replace any you find, and if you don't find any, hooray, have the extras as bonus!   I do think they are all playable, and most are postable, but I haven't listened to all of them all the way through and I'm offering a large bulk discount partially because of that and thus I will not qiubble over a couple CDs out of over 100.

20 credits takes the box.

I have a set of CDs with the UPC 359749178922

Using that on Amazon brings the CDs up. Entering it here gets an angry red box indiciating it isn't even a valid UPC. Deleting one digit gets a green valid UPC, so it's apparently longer than expected.

I can't find it by name, so I guess it's just not here. Ok, not the first one.  The UPC issue still bugs me though.

Why the UPC is not seen as a valid UPC?   Why does it not just come up as "no info" rather than not valid UPC.  What's the limitation/difference?  Are there other CDs with this issue, making them unlistable/not in the DB?

Local rummage sales.

Any multi-disc sets are likely to end up here because they are cheaper per credit to ship.

SInce my work became more intense I haven't been able to pop CDs in and listen to them (with the attention needed to decie how much I like them, rather than just background music) so I've had to scale back. I have a large stack to get through to decide if I like enough to keep or not.

I think that's part of the point--to allow new folks to move up on the CDs they want the most, and to let non-new people also pick the ones they really want more and let the rest just settle out when they come up.

So you first 10 woudl be on even footing with their first 10.  Your last 10 would not be. You'd have credit for long time in, but you don't rank them very high. I don't htink it matters to get all 1000 in exact order. I'd say the first 10 then the next hundred then maybe by hundreds.  Don't know the detailed math but I doubt 867 is much different than 1000.

On PBS they implemented a limit on the # of items on the WL to tackle the similar problem. Two different solutions, both of which leave you near the front for the CDs you want a fair amount, but keep you from taking up thousands of front running WL spots from other people.

I'd still like to be able to move my money around like I can credits.  That'd be nice, then I only have to make one guess not three.

So, Paperbackswap is going to an option between ala carte (fee per transaction) and membership fee (free transactions).

Any chance of that here? I'd really prefer the annual fee to having to deal with if I have enough money or guessing how much to add.

(I'd like use my current money as part of paying for it as well)
