Thank you everyone -- this CD has found its new home. 

So, I have a copy of Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris: The Western Wall, which is one of those strange little creatures: a full-art, perfectly-nice condition item -- case, booklet and all -- but is a promo, meaning that all of the aforementioned is true, but there is a promo statement neatly stamped at lower center on the booklet.

Hi All,

I tried logging in a few days ago, unsuccessfully, and was informed by a message (supposedly) from SwapaCD that my password was a problem -- part of a "data breach" of some kind. It didn't sound good.  I closed the window and opened another to change my pw, but I was wondering if anyone else got a message like that.  

Or was it just some nefarious fakery or other?  Strange.

If your CD is an original and playable music CD, it can be swapped here.

AudioBOOKS are not permitted at SwapaCD; they can be swapped at paperbackswap.com, our sister site for swapping books.

But I think you are asking because these are not "Audibooks", but maybe not quite music CDs either, right?

If they are in the SwapaCD database, then the answer is probably yes, list away.  If they are not in the database, I can't imagine anyone would have an issue with them being listed here in the SwapaCD Bazaar, but on the other hand PaperbackSwap has its own Bazaar, also, so there's that possibility, too.

That's my opinion, anyhow.

Agreed. Even if somehow it never gets acknowledged, the system is no-fault; everyone gets their credit and/or money back-- just let it runs its course.

For what it's worth, printed-postage gives you a way to get instant-credits as soon as you mark "mailed", if that's a concern, for the future.

The Help doc about pre-printed postage tries to be very up-front about that traders "should" be weighing and adjusting for reality -- though I don't know if as many of us have postal meters at home as have printers at home.  I think the answer is that you are "supposed to" be weighing and seeing how the postage amount adjusts accordingly, and there we have it.  All packages, like all CDs, are not equal in weight.

Still problematic for anyone else? I haven't received a single email notification since May 13.  Last I heard from the Team, the problem was fixed, but it sure is not.  I just sent a query about the progress of this issue.

Note to fellow traders (because I forgot this, myself):  your messages via SwapaCD -- from the site and from your fellow traders --  are also cc'd to the "Club Communications" page.  That isn't going to help you unless you log in and come to the site to find them, but it's good to know.
