Many fine classical CDs, chamber music, symphonies, concertos - most CDs are fulll performances, not digests.

thanks

I've had this happen - I've managed to clean the CD and improve its playability in the computer.

I use Radio Shack DVD/CD Skip Fixer - fixes scratches as well as subtler problems,

It doesn't always work but it's worth a shot.

I used to browse by classical genre, last posted, using primarily chamber music and keyboard categories. Those categories used to be precise and helprul. The new categories are much too sloppy and not helprul at all. For example at the top of the Chamber Music list tonight is a recording of two Mozart symphonies - that's not chamber music by any definition I know - aside from browsing known composers and performers, I haven't done much successful browsing.

Have you found any of the classical categories useful at all? Please share some hints.

thanks for any thoughts

I find myself wishing for an option for first class mail on 8 oz packages - it's only 3 cents more in postage.

Alternatively, I could print a 7 oz first class label and add 17 cent stamps up to the actual weight of a 8 or 9 or 10 oz package.

Any thoughts?

thanks, Lenny

These are all unpostable in the database. All are in very good or better condition with all inserts - 1 credit per CD. If you want the Capitol Jazz collection, make me an offer.

others as soon as I can find them

Mosaic Complete Set the Classic Capitol Jazz Sessions 12 CDs includes Mosaic booklet but missing box. Sessions by Cootie Williams, Louis Bellson, Carl Kress, Kay Starr, Red Norvo and many others. I don't know why this great Mosaic set is unpostable.

Graham Parker Big Man On Paper, Promo sampler

Hall of Fame Jascha Heifetz - 5 CD box includes 40 page booklet.- UPC 4011222200297 - Bach, Schubert, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Vieuxtemps, Saint-Saens, Brahms, Wienawski, Tchaikovsky, Glazunov violin concertos and chamber music. Vladimir Ashkenazy Beethoven piano sonatas: op10 Nos 1-3 - 1CD

Vladimir Ashkenazy Beethoven piano sonatas: op 21, 53, 81a, 90 - 1CD

The Ashkenazy might be part of a London Ashkenazy box set - if so I've lost track of the rest of the set.

Rachmaninov Suites for 2 pianos - John Ogdon, Brenda Lucas, Musical Heritage - 1CD

Rudolf Buchbinder Beethoven piano sonatas Moonlight Appassionata Pathetique Waldstein - 1CD

I just posted a 3-cd set Duke Ellington 1946-1947 that's listed as a single CD with 64 tracks.

I'd like to get three credits when I trade it. It would be great to get the database corrected but I don't see any way to do that.

What came to me was is that if someone picked it, I'd ask for 2 extra credits from the receiver.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

thanks

Lenny

I have the same problem posting El Corazon by Steve Earle - my wife's machine uses Firefox, maybe I'll try over there.

IE8 doesn't fix the problem
