I think this is more of a vent, but why do so many people post CD's that they can't send out or can't find, etc.  Five of the last seven requests of mine have been canceled because the member "can't send it".  These are wish listed CD's on auto-request, so I know they were posted right before I (the system) requests it.  Then the requests time out.

Why are people doing this?  Is it to get free credits for posting and then they never send anything out???  I rarely have this issue on PBS, and never with wish listed items.

Any input?  Do these types of transactions put a "black mark" on the members' accounts?  I rarely get notes about the problem.  Once someone said, "I can't find it".  That's fine, but when things just time out with no explanation, well, it's *very* frustrating!

Anyway, to add to my other messages, we have a lot of Christian music.  I don't want to part with much, though, so I use my PBS credits here to receive CD's.

We even have Christian vinyl!  I did finally give away all our cassettes.  As I find CD replacements for them, I do that.  So much is out of print, though.  I have a few very rare CD's.  I usually find them on RadRockers:

I've yet to find any really rare CD's in the genres I want here on SwapACD.

Definitely Disciple, Kutless, and Seventh Day Slumber (they get the most airplay around here).  I prefer Third Day's older stuff.  I also like Relient K, Toby Mac, KJ 52, Jon Reuben...just whatever I'm in the mood for.

We have a lot from Petra's first CD (it was pretty much an entirely different band) all the way through to just a couple of John Schiltt's albums w/ them.  We liked Greg X. Volz's voice better and have his two solo CD's.  We have over 600 Christian albums (the only type we have) - mostly rock and hard rock, some pop, some AC, some rap and hip-hop, pretty much every genre but country and southern gospel.  We have all of Whitecross and Whiteheart, Daniel Band, lots of S.CA stuff, Steve Taylor, gee, a LOT!

My abosolute fave of all time is Black Eyed Sceva/Model Engine.  Talk about deep lyrics!  I wish they'd make music again.

I also like Christian electronica and industrial - Dietiphobia, Wigtop, X-Propagation, etc.

Yes, I love any type of Christian Rock!!!!  I used to be a Christian rock radio station DJ!  I miss that!
