Finally Jay Farrar is on track and ready to battle it out with Wilco! Yes this album is that good!I was amazed listening to this disc. It's like Trace and Uncle tupleo in one disc. The writting is as good as Jay Farrar is capable of and he is a very capable artist.I knwe he had it in him,But I think he never knew he did. This is a definite Album of the Year contender.Thankyou for living up to My expepectations of yourself.I knew you were this good.

I find every song on this disc reminds me of a relationship I once had be it good or bad I miss something about each one. This reveals our inner most insecurities and I enjoy feeling those things all over again. It brings Joy and Pain back to you.I guess I would have to say it pretty much defines LOVE. This is a Must have disc. five stars!

This has to be the worst job of remastering ever! You are hit by tons of tape hiss and other noise that Alan Parsons and Pink Floyd never intended to to put down on the final product. The Best recording of DSOTM is the Mobile Fidelity Ultra Disc.Save your money and find some thing else. The redbook release is much better done.I give it one star becuase I really do hate this disc.

This is an icredible cd! Chet Atkins the old guard And Mark Knopfler the New! These two seem to have so much fun playing together that it really comes thru the music. The playing is fast clean and joyous. I can't help but smile when I listen to there playing. They each know what the other is doing or about to do when they are together.I guess thats why they say Pickin & a Grinin!Pick this one up and enjoy music again. It covers Traditional Country to Jazz and back again. The other members of this band also seem to feel what chemistry there is between the two Key Players.

I had never heard of Andy Narell and a friend gave me this disc the SACD version.Steel drum jazz what a concept. and it works from the first note you are taken on a journey of sonic exelence that in my opinion is fantastic. The recording is very good. The depth and width of the stage are without compremise.Sonics could be alittle better seems everyone tries to have a constant DB level and music just dosen't go that way.I look forward to listening to other Andy Narell projects he has a style that grabs you.Give it a listen and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Reckoning is the album that brought REM a little fame.It is by far there best effort to date. The original country alt band.I love the harmonies and mix of country and Americana with a message.Thats what made them College Radio Gods in the eighties.I don't think they will ever top this disc,I am sorry to say. But they still put out some great music. And often still tell it like it is!

This is simply one of the best hard hitting fusion recordings out there. The chemistry between these three is moving to say the least. From the first note you are taken on a trip of sound that is a once in a lifetime happening.Chesky is the master of one take recording.Coryell is at his finest here, playing with the enthasism of a fourteen year old boy touching his first breast. But with the refinement of an expirenced lover. Both Bailey and White shine in much the same way. This disc can make a deaf mute hear again.Do I like this recording yes in a word, But I don't want to Rave about it. You listen for yourself and decide.
