A talented bop-based trumpeter, Pete Minger has an attractive sound and a strong improvising style. After attending Tennessee State College and Berklee, Minger spent ten years with Count Basie's Orchestra (1970-1980) as a featured soloist. Minger settled in Miami in the early '80s and spent his time freelancing in the area.
