Splendid are the duo of singer Angie Hart, former lead vocalist for the Australian band Frente, and Jesse Tobias, former guitarist for Canadian star Alanis Morissette. However, their 1999 debut album, Have You Got a Name for It, sounds very American, in a college radio-friendly indie alt-rock way.
