Album Review
This brief set features ten tracks recorded by Waylon Jennings in the late 1950s and early '60s before he had fully developed his '70s outlaw persona, and while sides like "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright," "Abilene," and "It's So Easy" are pleasant enough, the sound here isn't that great, and it's obvious Jennings was still figuring out how to put everything together. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
