Album Review

ASV Living Era's My Funny Valentine collects 24 romantic songs recorded between 1932 and 1956 including "Embraceable You" (Nat King Cole), "Night and Day" (Fred Astaire), "For Sentimental Reasons" (Ella Fitzgerald), "Every Time We Say Goodbye" (Jeri Southern) and "The Folks Who Live on the Hill" (Bing Crosby). While this is not a top-notch compilation, it does revisit a few sentimental classics of the era. ~ Al Campbell, All Music Guide
