Album Review
Picking up where the first installment left off, Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 captures the Bellamy Brothers maturing, both in terms of music and message. Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 collects ten of their biggest singles -- including "Feelin' the Feelin'," "When I'm Away From You," "I Need More of You," "Old Hippie," "Lie to You for Your Love," and "Too Much Is Not Enough" -- all of which hit the charts between 1982 and 1986. The production and arrangements on these songs borrow from soft rock and folk-rock, taking away most of the duo's country edge. Of course, this is what their fans wanted to hear and these singles dominated the charts during the '80s. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
