Though you'd never guess it from the Maurice Sendak-inspired artwork that graces the cover of Greatest Hits: 30th Anniversary, this import collection includes all of ABBA's biggest singles up to 1976, including "Fernando," "SOS," "Mamma Mia," and "Waterloo." While this doesn't cover the group's most commercially successful years, it does act as a nice guide for those who missed out on the early part of the band's evolution. ABBA Gold or UTV's The Ultimate Collection are still the definitive collections that represent the band, but those who haven't purchased it already may want to check this out, if only for the interesting packaging. ~ Rob Theakston, All Music Guide
