Album Review
With or without its companion volume, this remains a...rather strange compilation. Even when viewed with Volume 2, these collections include odd selections at the expense of more obvious ones. The faithful will already have everything here...Neophyte fans would do better with Louder than Bombs along with Queen and the debut, although this might come in handy as a supplement. ~ Steve Aldrich, All Music Guide
