Album Review
For many years most of Julie London's vast Liberty Records catalog was out of print. EMI/Capitol then flooded the market with product from the cool-toned torch singer. The Best of Julie London collection is actually better than most and features rich, digitally remastered sound. It has a classy cover and a strong song list that avoids novelty numbers and kicks off with "Cry Me a River" ( London's first and biggest hit). This is a solid, budget-priced introduction to London's music even if longtime fans are still waiting for EMI to unearth more rarities and previously unreleased cuts from the vaults. ~ Nick Dedina, All Music Guide
