Album Review
Somewhere Over the Rainbow features a mix of tracks that vocalist Sarah Vaughan recorded from the '50s through the '80s. Included are some classics like "Day In, Day Out" and "The More I See You" as well as some more oddball cuts, including two from the Gene Lees album The Mystery of Man featuring poems by Pope John II set to music. While in no way a definitive overview of Vaughan's career, it is nonetheless a pleasant listen for curious newcomers. ~ Matt Collar, All Music Guide
