Album Review
Dressed to Kill's Blues Twinpack series is uneven at best, with sound quality and performances running between passable to horrendous. This double disc features eight tracks by Big Joe Turner, including "Shake, Rattle & Roll" and "Chains of Love," and ten from Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee ("Blues From the Lowland," "Po' Boy," and "Down by the Riverside"). Since these artists have been the subject of numerous greatest-hits compilations, this is definitely not the best way to acquire the quality material for which these icons are known. ~ Al Campbell, All Music Guide
