Album Review
This short fiery CD of the incomparable Little Richard's greatest hits also works as an audio blaster for excessive wax in your ear canals. The outrageous one's vocal approach is similar to a young Mike Tyson building a 20-0 record against tomato cans, as ferocious as lions feeding on a kill, and about as subtle as a bull rampaging through a china shop. From "Tutti-Frutti" to "Rip It Up," Little Richard explodes through these ten bawdy (but cleaned up) rock & roll classics as if every word he sings will be his last, never catching a breath -- or giving you a chance to catch yours. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
