Album Review

Melodies: The 1955 Walden Sessions features some of Jerome Kern's less-recognized songs performed by such artists as Christina Lind, David Daniels, Warren Galiour, and June Ericson. Since these four vocalists handle most of the singing on the 20 included songs, there's not quite as much variety as one might like. But those who admire these four, or just plain admire interpretations of Kern's compositions, should find this delightful at the least. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
