Stephanie Santé is a rare breed. She is on the short list of female
electronic music artists. Paramythos (literally "beyond myth") is a collection of her best unpublished compositions. The set is divided -- loosely -- into four movements, each with multiple parts.
Santé takes listeners on a whirlwind journey through exotic ports of call. Her soundscapes create vivid imagery in sparkling colors with deep textures. The mood is upbeat and light and the symphonic timbres generate pastoral ambience.
