Album Review

A good idea for a two-on-one CD, combining a pair of London's 1960s albums on one disc. The only problem is that neither album is that good, and together they don't come out as terribly exciting. Much more to the point, however, is the close, glittering sound, which puts the string section on "Call Me Irresponsible" or the organ on "Our Day WIll Come" practically in the listener's lap. The arrangements are the best part of either of these records, and they do stand out in this remastering. ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
