Review
Not quite as jarring on first listen as the Studio 1 variations, Thomas Brinkmann's second remix album sees him putting the tone arms to selected tracks from Richie Hawtin's Concept series of singles. The results retain much of Hawtin's originals -- the bass drones, muffled explosions and assorted clicks -- but treats them to Brinkmann's trademarked phase-and-delay methods. Even the sounds of surface noise revealed by Brinkmann's turntable contributes to the full effect. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
