Review

Speaking comparatively of course, Organ Transplants is quite a together work for Stock, Hausen & Walkman. Perhaps because it displays a bit of focus for all the cultural referencing (mostly organ music, whether bossa nova, lounge or vaguely soundtrack-sounding), the album succeeds where others failed. It shows SH&W creating actual music from their samples, instead of simply recycling various shards of pop music before they're thrown back into the dustbin. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
