Album Review
Although it isn't comprehensive by any means and the song selection appears to have been made at random, BMG Special Products' Vintage Gill is a nice sampler of the recordings Vince Gill made for RCA in the '80s. There are a few hits here -- "Oh Carolina," "Oklahoma Borderline," "Let's Do Something," "The Radio" -- but there are just as many album tracks, which means it's not an ideal disc for casual fans who want all the hits. Listeners on a strict budget, however, might find this a bargain, since it offers several good songs (regardless of whether they were hits or not) at a reasonable budget price. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
