Album Review
This budget disc, the second of two, reissues a mixture of material, much of it from Lena Horne's sojourns on United Artists and 20th Century-Fox Records in the mid '60s, as well as her 1972 Stanyan Records LP, Stormy Weather. Typically, she performs such signature materials as "Can't Help Lovin' That Man" and "Ill Wind," as well as standards like "Hello, Young Lovers" and "Where or When"; atypically, the selections also include a cover of the Jim Croce hit, "I Got a Name." This is a miscellaneous way to hear some of her minor recorded work, but it doesn't cost much. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
