Album Review
Rialto's Archive, Vol. 1 is a 16-track collection that balances live versions of greatest hits and latter-day studio recordings from Gary Numan. Certainly, this is the kind of record that will irritate casual fans, who will want the original hit versions of "Are 'Friends' Electric" and "Cars," and the recordings are specialized or interesting enough for collectors, so it falls into a weird limbo that pleases neither extreme. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
