Album Review
This compilation from 1991 features 16 tracks culled from the popular German dance-pop duo's first five records. Though they never achieved the same success in the United States that they did in their native Germany, Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders spent the majority of the late-'80s atop the European pop charts with hits like "You're My Heart, You're My Soul," "Cheri Cheri Lady," "Brother Louie," "Lady Lai," and "You Can Win If You Want." BMG's Collection may lack the scope of bigger, more ambitious compilations like Sony/BMG's definitive All the Best or 2003's Japanese Greatest Hits anthology, but it dutifully represents the duo at their creative and commercial peak. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
