This Is Jazz, Vol. 31 contains 11 well-chosen tracks taken from jazz fusion guitarist Al di Meola's seven-year stint with Columbia Records. This disc contains 11 highlights from the albums Elegant Gypsy, Electric Rendezvous, Land of the Midnight Sun, Tour de Force: Live, Scenario, and Splendido Hotel.
