Album Review

This nine-track score for William Friedken's violent flick To Live and Die in LA will appeal to those who enjoy the more dramatic spheres of Wang Chung's music. While the single and title track are pleasant enough, things get gritty with "Every Big City" and the moody atmosphere of "City of the Angels." "Wake up Stop Dreaming" could easily have been a second single and "Lullaby" is also a catchy filmic ditty which seems at odds with the rest of the album, but engages nonetheless. A good budget-priced recording for those with the right set of ears. ~ Kelvin Hayes, All Music Guide
