There is a wonderful country air to Wolf Song Night generated by the liberal use of steel and lap-top guitars and the occasional buzz of nature sounds. The reflective, impressionistic music invites an exploration of both the human condition and the vast wild landscapes of the mind. The themes are similar. For instance, there is the nature experience that pervades the title cut, "Wolfsong Night," and the introspective, Edward Hopper-like loneliness of "Lantern Sky."
