Album Review

Kai Winding and J.J. Johnson's 1955 Bethlehem album Nuf Said features double-trombone improvisations and strong performances from the rest of their band on "Out of This World," "Thou Swell," "It's All Right With Me," and "Gong Rock." The set seems even more accomplished when you consider the fact that they had collaborated for only a year before the release of this album. [A Rhino reissue was digitally remastered from the original session tapes and also features alternate takes of seven of the album's tracks.] ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide

Two incredible talents. Pay more attention to both of them and the under appreciated trombone!
