We seem to be headed into another period of a cappella groups -- more power to it, I say. This English female group does pick up instruments from time to time, but this mostly live (the last five tracks are studio recordings) album consists in the main of an instrument-free environment. Less jokey than many a cappella groups, they have a good selection of original and cover material, and do a nifty version of "Monkey Man." Fun to listen to, over and over. It's just something about those harmonies... ~ Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
