Album Review
This is the Fair release with the largest number of heavy hitters providing musical support ( Terry Adams, J Mascis, Don Fleming) and some of it rocks in a radio-friendly (for Jad anyway) fashion that's downright jarring. But there is enough of the trademark Fair mania and out-of-tune playing (a downright messy, atonal cover of "On the Sunny Side of the Street") to keep diehards happy, while expanding the minds of newcomers to Jad Fair's warm and wonderful world. ~ John Dougan, All Music Guide
