Album Review
With its smart song selection and entertaining liner notes, Passion Is No Ordinary Word is an excellent two-CD anthology covering Parker's entire career, complete with such rarities as "Mercury Poisoning" and "I Want You Back (Alive)" among such signature songs as "White Honey" and "You Can't Be Too Strong." A terrific introduction to Parker's career. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
