Containing the Valerie Carter-penned "Cook With Honey" (which was a minor hit for Judy Collins), Howdy Moon is a solid, if unremarkable, folk-rock album of the early '70s. Formed by friends Jon Lind, Richard Hovey, and Valerie Carter in Loginitas, CA, the group released one album before disbanding. Though it's a somewhat obscure album, most of Little Feat (along with John Sebastian and Van Dyke Parks) are featured players.
