Album Review
Lull is a four-song EP the Smashing Pumpkins released as they were preparing to enter the studio to record their second album, Siamese Dream. Essentially the "Rhinoceros" single and three B-sides, Lull is targeted toward die-hard fans, but the solo Billy Corgan acoustic ballad "Bye June" and the blistering "Slunk" illustrate that the sumptuous neo-psychedelic hard rock of Gish wasn't a fluke. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
