Album Review
This CD is an audio interview with the band's guitarist Alex Lifeson. The interview was recorded during the media push for the group's Hold Your Fire album in 1985. The musician discusses elements of his childhood, the band's longevity and history. He obviously also discusses the Hold Your Fire disc, and many of the older albums, and the lessons that their creation taught the band. This interview really presents Lifeson as an intelligent and articulate man who is very committed to his music. He goes all the way back to the beginnings of the band, talking about the first album and the hurdles that they had to go through to release that disc. This should be an enlightening and entertaining disc for diehard fans of the group. ~ Gary Hill, All Music Guide
