Album Review
Welcome to My World: The Essential Jim Reeves Collection is a double disc box set that offers an overview of his entire career, even if its balance is a bit uneven. Beginning with his early '50s hit, the box runs through most of his biggest hits, concentrating on his smooth countrypolitan '60s hits. Though fans of his early honky tonk material will feel that side of Reeves is overlooked, Welcome to My World is the best overall Reeves retrospective available. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
