Album Review
The Singles Collection, Vol. 2 contains CD replicas of the 13 singles Queen released between 1979 and 1984, a five-year span when the band was one of the biggest acts in the world. During this time they had several of their biggest hits -- "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "Another One Bites the Dust," "Flash's Theme," "Under Pressure," and "I Want to Break Free" -- and they're all here, along with their B-sides. This, of course, isn't the best way to listen to the singles; this is a package for collectors who enjoy the artwork as much as the music, and in that regard it's an attractive package even if it doesn't result in the most practical listening. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
