CLASSIC!
G-Maab | Jacksonville, Fl | 11/17/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is the best z-ro album and that's saying alot because z-ro have never disappointed me. On this album Ro shows his versatility in being able to rap, hook&sang, reggae, and we all know he can rap, beyond that this man is the most unappreciated not just rapper but artist of all time. I hope my ni**a can finally reap the benefits of great music."
CLASSIC HIP HOP ALBUM! One of the years Best

"Z-Ro is back at it again with COCAINE after last years equally great CRACK. Z-Ro is possibly the most slept on rapper of all time. No doubt about it Z-Ro deserves to be mentioned with other hip hop legends from the south like Scarface, UGK, Outkast, Trick Daddy etc. He releases some of the most heartfelt, honest lyrics the game has witnessed. I like to call Z-Ro the Bobby Womack of hip hop music. He injects so much soul and personality into his music and makes you feel exactly what he is saying and it would be a rarity that you wouldn't relate to his lyrics in some way.

Z-Ro effortlessly switches from rapping and harmonizing giving the songs an instantly likable quality. The beats are vintage COUNTRY RAP TUNES as the late great Pimp C would put it. Excellently produced with a down to earth quality desperately needed in the game right now. Nothing is over the top.

Z-Ro (or Rap-A-Lot maybe?) released this album very quietly. I like to stay up on my internet game and knowing when stuff comes out and things of that nature but I literally didn't know about this album until the day before it was released in stores. Then when I got to BB I had to search hard to even find the album (even though the Triple C's album was in plain sight). It's also not too much information about the album except of course that it's a new Z-Ro album. That is a shame because Z-Ro should be a star/household name by now...easily and people should at least know when his albums are released.

The album is a great listen straight through though and although every song is good the ones that standout are One Two, Don't Worry About Mine, Bottom To The Top, Can't Leave Drank Alone, Doing Just Fine, Haters Got Me Wrong, and On My Grind.

This is a must have album if you're a fan of hip hop music, down south music or just good music period. 5 stars."
Another Ckassic album from Z-Ro

"Z-Ro returns again with yet another great album. I have 9 of his solo's and 3 group albums of his and all are very good to classic albums. I'd give three 5 stars ("King Of The Ghetto" - 2001, and "Life of Joseph McVey" - 2004) and this one. Four I'd give 4.5 stars ("Z-Ro vs. the World" - 2000, "Let The Truth Be Told" - 2005, and his 2 ABN albums with Trae ("ABN" - 2005 & "It Is What it Is" - 2008). The rest I'd give 4 stars to: ("I'm Still Livin" - 2006, "KOTG: Power" - 2007, "Crack" - 2008, "Z-Ro" - 2002, and his "Kings of the South" album with Lil Flip - 2005). As always he has some deep and personal songs on here and a few more street songs and one or 2 upbeat more positive songs. Of the 17 on here, 2 are classics, 2 are almost classics, 1 is ok, the other 12 are good or great songs. Guests are on 8 of the 17 songs and all are fellow southerners. Production is great as well. Z-Ro does 11 songs, Bigg Tyme does 3, Big E does 2,a nd Beanz & Kornbread do 1. A must have album from one of the best to touch the mic, not just out of the south but ever.
