CD ReviewsYVONNE PRINTEMPS SINGS LIKE A BIRD John Browne | Australia | 02/11/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I am a big, big fan of Yvonne Printemps and am pleased to see what I have on a vinyl LP now on CD. She was a big, big star of the French (and possibly English) stages from possibly as early as 1915 and made a couple of films in the late 1930s - The Three Waltzes and other other film.My LP notes that YP sings like a oiseau (French for bird). She has a beautiful voice and the harmonies with Pierre Fresnay who also co-starred in The Three Waltzes are music to the ears.Do yourself a favour ... have a listen to this.
