Great musician, died too young

"It's always a tragedy that a great talent should die so young. When most of the popular singers in Japan were the products of management companies, he got popular without heavy promotions, didn't go on TV, all through radio play. From his songs, you get a sense of his rebellion, his honesty with himself, a real sense of living. I was older than 17 years old when I heard "seventeen's map", but it brought me back to the days when I felt so pure, so sincere, so looking forward to the future. It really humbles me.
Great singer and great song writer."
