Synopsis

Album Description
2009 release from the Rap veteran. Yukmouth was a member of the platinum-selling Rap duo The Luniz along with Numskull. He went on to sign a solo record deal at Rap-A-Lot Records, releasing three albums, each selling at least 200,000 copies with minimal airplay but a strong street presence. Under his own label, Smoke-A-Lot Records, Yukmouth released United Ghettos of America Volume 1 & 2. No longer signed to Rap-A-Lot,, Yukmouth has partnered with RBC Records for The West Coast Don.

CD Reviews

Yuk returns with another good album
G$ | B-More, MD | 08/20/2009
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Yukmouth drops his 5th solo and first not on Rap-A-Lot, and again he brings another good album. Not to mention his few mixtapes and a few group albums (Thug Lordz and Luniz) and a few United Ghetto's compilations he put outLike most of his solo's, it's long (18 songs almost 76 minutes) and has some filler tracks on it (talking about flossing and balling like he does alot and some radio-like tracks with the talkbox and singing chorus), but for the most part it's a good album. As always, it's a little heavy on the guests, on 11 of the 18 songs. Of the 18, you get 1 almost classic, 5 ok songs and the other 12 are good. Production is decent as well. Knock does 3 songs, Arson & Knoxx, Slapboyz, Reo, Scorp Diesel and P Killer Trackz each do 2 sogns, and Nann Dogg, LA, Raw Beats, Rek and S-Class each do 1 song. For his fans I'd pick this one up.
