Cantor Yossele Rosenblatt, a favorite among the cantors, recorded 182 prayers and songs. This album includes some of his best work, including "Shir Ha'Maalot." Joseph Rosenblatt, known by the name "Yossele," was born in the Ukraine in 1882, passed away in Jerusalem in 1933, and was buried in the Mount of Olives. He served as a cantor in Hungary and Germany, and reached the height of his fame when he moved to the United States.
