CD ReviewsTECHNICAL + BRUTAL = KILLER!! Death Metal90 | 11/12/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Not many bands are able to pull off this style of Deathmetal. Extreme almost jazz/fusion technicality, yet with the crushing straighforward brutality of true Deathmetal. This is the only album I have of theirs but that is going to change. I will definitely buy everything else they have released. The drum snare and overall production is f**cking awesome, total live feel with no cheesy stupid artificial triggered double bass. The guitar sound in my opinion is a bit muffled and cluttered sounding, which is the only problem I have. I wish the guitars were more clear and louder in the mix. This album should be remastered because I think technical bands need to have a razor sharp guitar tone. However, the overall production sounds very much like Deicide's Legion which is definitely a good thing. The first song alone makes this album worth the price. Great song writing, face smashing guitar riffs. I would reccomend Yattering to anybody who likes Kataklysm, Suffocation, or Cannibal Corpse."
